Answers to common questions
Video playback issues
If the video is not loading, try the following steps to resolve the most common video loading issues.
Troubleshooting
- Refresh your browser.
- Quit your browser and re-open it.
- Log out of your account and log back in.
- Clear your browser's cookies and cache. Be sure to restart your browser before trying again
- Restart your computer.
- Check your browser version and update if outdated.
- Try a different browser, like Google Chrome.
- Turn off hardware acceleration (in Firefox or on Windows).
Take a note of your browser extensions/firewall programs. Is there anything that could be interfering with the streaming of the videos? We recommend testing with an incognito (or private browsing) window to troubleshoot.
Audio problems
If you're taking a video or audio lecture, but can't hear anything:
- Check if other videos are having playback issues on sites like Vimeo or YouTube
- Check if other course lectures are producing sound

How do I change or reset my password?
You can request a password reset email from the login page.
- Go to the login page
- Click 'Forgot your password?'
- Enter your email address and click Reset password.
Change password
You can change your password at any time in Account settings.
- Sign in to your account.
- Click on your profile picture in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
- Select 'Settings'
- Enter your current password, your new password, and then the 'save' button to confirm.
How do I change my basic profile information?
You can edit your display name, e-mail address and avatar.
- Sign in to your account.
- Click on your profile picture in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
Select 'Settings' - Click the 'save' button to confirm.

Where have my courses gone?
Can’t find your courses? Disappeared? It could be that your account has been deactivated.
Check to see that your card details are correct and that there are sufficient funds available. We attempt to take payments from your card 3 times. If all 3 fail, your account is automatically deactivated. Please get in touch to reactivate.
Refunds and cancellations
We want you to be satisfied, so all purchases on Mastery Classes can be refunded within 30 days. Maybe you bought a course or membership by mistake, or the content wasn’t exactly what you were expecting; maybe you simply didn’t like it. For whatever reason, if you are unhappy with a course, please let us know.
Reasons for Denied Refunds
While our 30 day refund policy is in place to protect students, we must also protect our instructors from fraud. We will not process refund requests received after the refund window.
